Operatives of the Lagos State Police Command attached to the Anti-Kidnapping Unit, acting on credible intelligence, successfully intercepted and recovered forty-seven sacks containing military camouflage uniforms during an intelligence-led operation.

The operation also led to the arrest of three suspects and the recovery of an unregistered MAN diesel truck allegedly used to transport the items, alongside eighty cartons of substances suspected to be illicit drugs.

Preliminary investigations indicate that the military camouflage uniforms were being conveyed to the eastern part of the country. Investigations are ongoing to determine the source, ownership, intended recipients, and other individuals connected to the illegal operation.

The successful operation underscores the Lagos State Police Command’s commitment to proactive policing, intelligence gathering, and the protection of public safety.
