The Lagos State Police Command has uncovered a sophisticated indoor cannabis farm at a residential property in Apapa, Lagos, arresting two suspects, including a 49-year-old Polish national.
The discovery was made on November 2, 2026, at about 8:15 a.m., following credible intelligence received by police operatives.
The suspects were identified as Thomas Razvickas, 49, a Polish national, and James Chisome, 36, a Nigerian. Both reportedly reside at the property where the suspected cannabis farm was discovered.
A search of the premises reportedly revealed a high-tech indoor farming facility equipped for the cultivation, harvesting and processing of substances suspected to be cannabis.
The suspects are currently in police custody, where they have reportedly made confessional statements and are providing useful information to assist ongoing investigations.
The Commissioner of Police, Lagos State Command, CP Tijani Fatai, psc, mnips, subsequently visited the property to inspect the facility and receive a briefing on the investigation.
