Abia State branch of National Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers(NIESV) has been awarded the hosting rights for the Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers (NIESV) Conference, which is scheduled to take place in April 2026.
The Deputy Governor of Abia State, Engr Ikechukwu Emetu FNSE, expressed delight over the development when the surveyors paid a courtesy visit to present the conference flag, signifying the hosting rights.
During the visit, Engr Emetu emphasized the readiness of the present administration under the leadership of Governor Alex Otti to bring positive impact in every area of development in the state. He advised the organizers to make the event colorful and memorable.
In her speech during the visit, ESV Uche Ikoro FNIVS RSV, Chairman of the NIESV State Chapter, praised the state’s leadership for its commitment to creating a conducive business environment and expressed optimism that the conference will be a grand success.
She revealed that the conference is expected to bring together estate surveyors, valuers, and other industry stakeholders from across the country and will feature keynote speakers, paper presentations, and exhibitions, providing a platform for professionals to share knowledge and expertise.
