Air Force jet allegedly bombs 30 to death during Sallah celebration

Airforce jet allegedly dropped a bomb on the residents of Tudun Biri, a village in Igabi Local Government Area of Kaduna state during a Maulud celebration.

At least 30 villagers are feared dead after the incident which took place at 9 PM on Sunday.
“They were celebrating Maulud (birth of Prophet Muhammad) when the jet dropped the bomb, resulting in the immediate death of more than 30 people,” a resident said.

There are indications that the death toll might increase.

As of press time, authorities have yet to provide a clear picture of what transpired. Meanwhile, Samuel Aruwan, the state’s Overseeing Commissioner of Internal Security, has confirmed the incident and promised an official statement later today.
