The management of AirPeace has suspended fight operations nationwide following the strike actions of the Nigerian Meteorological Agency, which commenced on Wednesday.

In a statement on X, AirPeace said the unavailability of hazardous CNH(hazardous weather) reports required for safe landing is the reason for suspending flight operations.

Passengers travelling from Port Harcourt, Rivers State, to Abuja and Lagos were stranded earlier today following the strike action.

Speaking to Punch, one of the workers lamented poor remuneration and poor working conditions, calling for the federal government’s consideration of their welfare.
