The Governor of Àbia State,Dr Chioma Alex Otti has applauded the contribution of Chief &chief Mrs Johnson in the development of their community,Amaba ugwueke in Bende LGA.
The Governor who was ably represented by the Deputy Governor, Engr Ikechukwu Emetu,made this statement during the commissioning of Isieke Civic Center built and equipped by Chief & Chief Mrs Johnson Chukwu on the 7th of August ,at isieke Village square Amaba ugwueke in Bende LGA,Àbia State .

He said “the Government of Àbia State is one that has open door policy to those who are willing to develop their community and local government area one way or the other”.
Alex Otti prayed that Civic Center will open and encourage SMEs and training of youths in the community.
Speaking on some of the complaints made earlier by the President General of Ugwueke Development Union while
making reference to rehabilitation of Alayi -Ugwueke and rehabilitation and the completion of the accessible road to boundary with Akaeze community in Ebonyi,the Deputy Governor Engr Ikechukwu Emetu noted that the Governor has had discussions with the mayor,Mr Chijioke Nwankwo and that all boundary issues will be settled soon.
Contributing, a former Governor of Anambra state Mr. Peter Obi, thanked Chief and Chief Mrs. Johnson Chukwu for their various community development strides and charged them not to relent in providing basic amenities to their communities.
Mr. Obi emphasized on the need for leaders to shun corruption in order to achieve a prosperous Nation for the good of all citizens.
Earlier in his speech,the President General of Ugwueke development union,Mr Igwe Gideon Elekwa commended his excellency Dr Chioma Alex Otti for his landmark acheivements and outstanding performance in different sectors of Àbia State economy and especially in development of infrastructure within a short period of administration.
He appreciated chief Chukwu for creating an opportunity of having the presence of the Governor in Ugwueke Community and used the opportunity to make some of the community challenges which included rehabilitation of Alayi-Ugwueke road, construction of Ozara Ugwueke to Amaokayi road and many more known to the Governor.
Dignitaries that graced the occasion were Former Minister Hon Sampson Uche Ogah,Hon Ginger onwusibe , Nollywood actor kanoyo o Kanoyo and many more.
Highlight of the event was the commissioning of the civic center by the Deputy Governor Engr Ikechukwu Emetu.
