The Government of Cross River State has congratulated the Director of the Nigeria Police Force National Cyber Crime Centre (NPF-NCCC), CP Akaninyene Ifeanyi Ezima, on his promotion to the rank of Assistant Inspector-General of Police (AIG).
In a congratulatory letter dated July 3, 2026, and signed by the Commissioner for Information, Erasmus Ekpang, the state government described the promotion as well deserved and a testament to Ezima’s dedication, professionalism, and outstanding contributions to policing in Nigeria.
The government noted that the elevation to the rank of AIG is not only a personal milestone in Ezima’s distinguished career but also a source of pride for the people of Cross River State.
