A 44-year-old, Olanrewaju Kolawole, has reportedly shared his painful experience after a DNA test uncovered that he is not the biological father of his four children.
Kolawole recently appeared on the popular radio show ‘Kokoro Alate’, on Agidigbo FM, Ibadan, hosted by Oriyomi Hamzat, with his wife, Mrs. Tella Toyin, as he reported the case of paternity fraud.
The man, who is an indigene of Ikire, Osun, and his wife shared four kids together, namely Ayomide, 16, Sarah, 12, and two other children aged 8 and 5 years, respectively.
According to Kolawole, he decided to do a DNA test on his first child after observing some promiscuous moves from his wife, and the result shows that he is not the biological father.
This prompted him to carry out a paternity test on the other three children, and it also came out negative.
He said, “I want Nigerians to come to my rescue because I must not suffer this in vain. I married Toyin in 2007 and gave birth to four children. She gave birth to four children, but none of them belongs to me after findings from a DNA test.”
The paternity test was conducted at the DDC DNA Diagnostic Center in Osogbo.
However, Toyin responded by disagreeing with the results, saying that she was not there when they took the sample and did not know which samples were taken.
She said, “I don’t accept the result. I don’t accept it because I was not there when they took samples, and I don’t know which sample they took, so I don’t accept it. I can’t accept it because I know how I conceived those children”.
