A popular Nigerian lawyer and human rights activist, Femi Falana, has cautioned police personnel on the new law against torture, illegal detention, and death while in detention.
He made this known during the commissioning of the Compliant Response Unit (CRU) in Lagos.
In the audio below, he warns that if a suspect dies while in detention, the officer involved will get a death sentence.
