President Buhari has listed former Inspector General of Police, Dr Solomon Arase among the 437 nominees for the 2022 National Honours Award.
He will be conferred with Commander of the Order of the Federal Republic (CFR) alongside other dignitaries which includes the late Chief of Staff to the President, Malam Abba Kyari.

Others to be conferred with the CFR honour include renowned businessman, Kessington Adebutu; Chairman, Body of Benchers, Oluwole Olanipekun, SAN.
Thirteen governors will also be conferred with the Commander of the Order of the Niger (CON).
The governors include Ma Mala Buni of Yobe State; Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN, of Ondo State; Abubakar Atiku Bagudu of Kebbi State; David Umahi of Ebonyi State; Lawrence Ugwuanyi of Enugu State; Simon Lalong of Plateau State; Ben Ayade of Cross River State; Darius Ishiaku of Taraba State and Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna State. Others are Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti State; Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State; Babagana Zulum of Borno State and Muhammad Musa Bello of Niger State.
The former governor of Lagos State and Minister of Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola, SAN and Information Minister, Alhaji Lai Mohammed will also receive the CON award.
The conferment notice which was signed by the Minister of Special Duties and Inter-Governmental Affairs, Senator George Akume. Out of the 437 nominees, five persons were listed for Grand Commander of the Order of the Niger (GCON), 54 for Commander of the Order of the Federal Republic (CFR) and 67 for the Commander of the Order of the Niger (CON).
Others are 64 for Officer of the Order of the Federal Republic (OFR), 101 for Officer of the Order of the Niger (OON), 75 for Member of the Order of the Federal Republic (MFR), 56 for Member of the Order of the Niger (MON) and eight for Federal Republic Medal (FRM).
The honours will be conferred on them on Tuesday, October 11 in Abuja.
