Abia State Governor Alex Otti has announced the termination of the employment of civil servants employed in the Abia State Civil Service from December 2022 to date.

This was made known in a statement signed by the Secretary to the Abia State Government, the Chief of Staff to the Governor, the Deputy Chief of Staff, and all Heads of Agencies of the Abia State Government by the Head of Service. The sack had an immediate effect.
