Ogun State Police Command has arrested a 30-year-old prophet of Cherubim and Seraphim Church, Ajuwon, Joseph Ogundeji for allegedly defiling two under aged sisters who are members of his church.
According to the command spokesperson, SP Abimbola Oyeyemi, the suspect was arrested on the November 11, 2022, following a complaint lodged at Ajuwon divisional headquarters by the father of the two girls. He got this shocking revelation when he discovered that his 16-year- old daughter is pregnant and she confessed that the prophet was responsible.
As soon as the father of the victims alerted the police, the DPO Ajuwon division, SP Andrew Akinseye detailed his detectives to arrest the randy prophet.
On interrogation, the prophet admitted that he actually committed the crime.
In the course of investigation, it was also discovered that the said prophet did not only have carnal knowledge of the 16-year-old girl but also her younger sister who is 13.
The two victims informed the police that whenever they had vigil in the church, the prophet who lives very close to the church will ask them to go and stay in his house after the vigil which normally end around 3am. The prophet would give them something to lick, and after licking it, they will sleep off and discover in the morning that the prophet had sex with them.
When asked why they didn’t inform their parents, the victims told the police that the suspect threatened to kill anyone of them that will expose his secret.
