How man deceived Catholic Church to wed him as a woman

A man identified as Emmanuel Ogoegbunam Nwolisa, who was alleged to have disguised as a woman and tried to deceive Catholic Church into wedding him is dead.

Emmanuel who was known by the church as Emmanuelle Adaolisa died in a Keke accident in Port Harcourt and her sudden death unraveled the fact that he is a man. The church got the shock their lives when the mortuary attendants confirmed that he is a man.

It was learnt that Emmanuel created a new identity on all his social media accounts. The trained pharmacist changed his identity and started living as a woman with Facebook username Emmanuelle Adaolisa.

He joined the choir in Catholic church in Port Harcourt and participated actively in church as woman.

He alerted the church about his intentions to marry and attended the compulsory marriage course organized by the church. He was also said to have successfully organized a traditional wedding in his village with his proposed husband whose identity is not known as at press time.

She died few days before the wedding.

Those who knew him as a man said he acted in a feminine manner, loved to dance like a woman and sang in a high pitch voice like a woman.

One of his fans and a close relative simply identified as Bomaawobajo on her social media handle stated that Olisa had gender dysphoria and was born that way. “I have known him all my life. He always acted like a little girl even as a boy as little as age 4. Same way, depression is a mental illness, gender dysphoria is real. To me, he is a proof that some people are born with a twisted condition in their genes that make them believe they are the opposite sex. Science would have answers but of cos Nigerians would say something different. I choose to remember Olisa for his kind and sweet nature. May his soul rest in peace.
