Vice President Kashim Shettima on Tuesday decorated the acting Inspector General of Police, IGP Kayode Egbetokun with his new rank at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

The Acting IGP who spoke to journalist after the brief ceremony said he is ready to devour Nigeria’s internal enemies. “I feel like a tiger ready to devour Nigeria’s internal enemies”, he roared. He is expected to officially resume office 11am on Wednesday.

In attendance were National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu; Chairman of the Progressives Governors’ Forum, Hope Uzodinma; the President’s Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila; Secretary to the Government of the Federation, George Akume and the immediate past IGP, Usman Alkali.
