Nigerian-British businessman and social media influencer, Igho Ubiribo, underwent five penile enlargement procedures at a Bangkok clinic before his death, Thai health authorities have revealed.
Ubiribo, 43, also known as “Tiny”, “Denisi” and “Ego”, died on March 6, 2026, a day after receiving his fifth procedure.
The Department of Health Service Support said the clinic told investigators that Ubiribo had been a regular patient since 2024, receiving four procedures between 2024 and 2025 and a fifth on March 5, 2026.
The final procedure involved injecting 40cc of filler. The clinic said the doctor recommended splitting the treatment into two sessions, but Ubiribo opted for a single injection.
He later went for a massage with his wife but complained of chest pain and lost consciousness. He was rushed to hospital, where doctors suspected a pulmonary embolism. Despite more than 100 minutes of CPR, he could not be revived.
A UK coroner had previously linked his death to the cosmetic procedure, while a postmortem reportedly found material in his lungs consistent with the hyaluronic acid used in the filler.
Thai authorities inspected the clinic on September 7 and said the investigation is ongoing. They have not announced any finding of malpractice, but the case is expected to be referred to Thailand’s Medical Council to assess professional standards.
