A 45-year-old man, simply identified as Kazeem has committed suicide after taking hard drug, Colorado, he jumped into the river at Alagbado area of Lagos State.
The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), SP Benjamin Hundeyin in a statement issued on Sunday said on October 11, at about 11 am, a complaint was received at Alagbado division.
Hundeyin said that the deceased under the influence of a hard drug, ran uncomfortably and jumped into a river at Odo tente boundary between Lagos and Ogun State.
He added that the victim was drown and died in the river.
Hundeyin, however, said the scene was immediately visited by detectives of the division and photographs of the deceased were taken, while his father was contacted through his phone, he directed that the deceased corpse should be buried immediately by the river side according to tradition.
Meanwhile, investigation was ongoing on the matter.
