Unconfirmed sources from Zamfara State claim that the notorious terrorist’ leader in the State, Bello Turji, has been captured alive.
According to the sources that backed up their claim with a recorded conversation in the Hausa language, Turji was arrested by vigilante fighters in the Kaura area of the state that has been on his trail.
Recall that days back, Turji reportedly released all the people in his captivity and ran away with his family members.
An indigene of the Shinkafi Local Government Area, where Turji had his hideouts, Muhammad Bello, said some of the released abductees were seen around the Kaura-Namoda Shinkafi road seeking help to return to their various communities.
“We have seen some of them on the road, trying to go to their respective towns and villages.
“Some of them look very tired and sick and were looking for help,” Bello said.
