Ogun State Commissioner of Police (CP) Frank Emeka Mba, was amongst 22 other CPs who were screened today March 28th for promotion to the next rank of Assistant Inspector-General (AIG) of Police.
The Police Service Commission (PSC) Plenary took place earlier today, March 28th 2023 to peruse the files, of the officers and subsequently ratify their promotions, as recommended by the Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Alkali Usman Baba.
Other CPs to be promoted AIG, includes Delta State Commissioner of Police CP Ali Mohammed Ari, CP Umar Sanda, CP Oyediran Adesanye Oyeyemi, Babaji Sunday, Akande Sikiru, Sadiq Idris Abubakar (CP FCT) and CP Jonathan Towuru from Delta State, who is already acting AIG.

God bless PSC, God bless NPF, is a good development but the commission should also remember inspectors promoted 2016 It will also be a sign of encouragement because they should be due from promotion too

Also ASP’S promoted 08/06/2018 and confirmed 08/06/2020 are due for promotion sir. I appealed to police service commission and the police authorities to look into their files for recommendations and promotion sir.
Congratulations and welcome development. But at least police service commission should look into the ranks of inspectors being crowded 2016, 2017 and 20018 are due for promotion by now and should look into consideration to clear 2016 and 2017. Then others should have hope. Thank you.
