The Force Public Relations Officer, CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, has condemned the viral video showing seven policemen escorting a yet-to-be-identified man walking with a cow. A Twitter user, Yemie Fash, shared the video on his handle and tagged Adejobi asking why the man had so many policemen escorting him. He wrote, “Hello, #Princemoye1 Who is this man, why does he have so many #PoliceNG men following him?” This is coming after the acting Inspector General of Police, Olukayode Egbetokun, vowed to effect the withdrawal of Police Mobile Force personnel from VIP escort/guard duties on Monday, June 26.

Adejobi retweeted the video on Thursday morning on his Twitter account, describing it as ‘disgusting’ and stating that the police officers would be fished out. He said, “This is condemned. We will fish out these men. It’s even disgusting. We have set up a committee to look into the process of withdrawing our PMF/tactical men.
