Lagos State Police Command has arrested four suspected cultists and hitmen linked to multiple killings in Ajanmgbadi, Ojo and nearby communities.
The suspects – Emmanuel Nwokolo alias “Oblo”, 35; Ayola Israel alias “Essy Pawpaw”, 39; Ebuka Nnamdi, 31; and Chinedu Okafor, 22 – were picked up at a hotel in Ajanmgbadi following credible intelligence.

Police said a video showing the killing of unidentified persons was recovered from one suspect’s phone. During interrogation, the men allegedly confessed to being members of the Aiye Confraternity and to terrorising residents through killings and other violent crimes.
A search led to the recovery of two locally fabricated pistols, one revolver pistol and 13 live cartridges believed to have been used in their operations.
CP Tijani Fatai, Commissioner of Police Lagos State, commended the operatives and vowed the Command will keep working to rid Lagos of cultism and violent crime. He urged residents to stay vigilant and share timely information via the Command’s emergency lines: 07061019374, 08065154338, 08063299264, 08039344870, 09168630929.
