Super Cop Abba Kyari has sympathised with victims of the Maiduguri Monday Market fire.
Speaking through his wife who informed him during a visit this Sunday morning Kyari expressed shock and profound sadness over the unfortunate incident.

The fire which broke out on Sunday early morning led to the burning of properties worth billions of naira.
The cause of the fire is not yet known as of Sunday morning but eyewitness told our Correspondent that the fire started past midnight Sunday morning.
In videos obtained by Our Correspondent, huge balls of fire could be seen spreading across the market rapidly with so many unlucky business owners losing their goods to the fire.
Other business owners could be seen rushing to the scene daring the fire in the process to recuse their goods.
But Mrs Kyari said when the husband was informed, he was ” Seriously saddened by the fire”.
“He knows the market in his home town very well right from his childhood. It’s the biggest market in the state.
“He wondered how the people would do now. He is sad especially with the fact that the people have not yet recovered from the effect of Boko Haram Terrorist activities which devastated the economy of the State and the people for many years.
“He prayed that God will assist the people to recover fully and continue their businesses.”
He further Prayed that “May God Almighty bless and prosper the people of Borno State, North East Nigeria and Nigeria in General” Ameen Ameen Ameen.
