Popular Nigerian comedian, Ayodeji Makun, widely known as AY, has reacted to the fire incident that engulfed his Lagos home on Sunday.
A viral video, recorded by a social media user @Postsubman, shows that AY’s house was gutted by fire on Sunday. The roof of the storey-building was on fire.
The video also shows first emergency responders at the scene of the incident trying to salvage the situation.
Expressing gratitude to God for the safety of his family, AY speaking via his verified Instagram page to his over 13 million followers some hours ago, the comedian shared a video of his wife and daughter abroad whilst noting the important things in life: which he disclosed as ‘God and family’.
He also said that he couldn’t wait to join them in a few days.
He wrote: “Family and God – that is what’s important. Everything else comes and goes. Can’t wait to join you guys in the US in few days.”
