At least two persons, including a female corps member, have been reportedly abducted by unknown gunmen who invaded an estate in Abuja on Monday night, August 21, 2023.

It was gathered that the bandits stormed two residential buildings located at Odilichkwu Nwankwo street in Lugbe area of the FCT at about 10:22 PM.

According to a source who spoke with Instablog9ja, “They abducted at least two persons, a boy and a girl. And right now, the bandits have called through the victims’ phones to demand the sum of N15million ransom per person.

It’s important to note that it took police two hours to arrive at the scene despite the heavy gunshots fired by the bandits. The bandits were so comfortable, they took their sweet time and did what they wanted before leaving.

I called the Abuja emergency department number by 10:49 PM to report the shooting, they told me that they are on their way but they came by 1 AM after the incident happened.

Also, the location is not far from Nigeria civil defense headquarters and immigration headquarters. It’s approximately 10 minutes drive to these places. They should have heard the gunshots.”
