Human rights activist Tony Dania has announced he will represent Samuel Ojeogwu, Regina Daniels’ brother, in a legal dispute that has become entwined with the public feud between the actress and Senator Ned Nwoko. Dania said he will offer his services pro bono, citing the need for “fair play and justice” for all Nigerians, regardless of their public profile. The clash began after videos surfaced in early November showing Regina Daniels alleging that Nwoko had physically disciplined her and that her brother had been arrested on the senator’s orders.
Regina’s brother, Samuel, has accused Nwoko of domestic violence and of using his influence to silence the family. Nwoko, in turn, has denied the allegations, describing the video as a “pure Nollywood scenario” and blaming Regina’s alleged drug use and a “gang‑up” of relatives and friends for the controversy.

Dania’s involvement adds a new dimension to the saga, which has sparked widespread debate about power dynamics, gender, and polygamy in Nigerian public life.
