Real reason Mbaka was suspended -cleric
By Ben Ekezie
Founder of Zion Prayer Movement Outreach based in Okota Lagos, Chukwuebuka Obi, has alleged that the statement by Reverend Ejike Mbaka against Labour Party Presidential candidate, Peter Obi was not the real reason the popular Adoration ministry was suspended.
He made this allegation during a live broadcast on his verified Facebook account alleging that Mbaka philanthropic nature was one of the major reasons why he is under attack by the church.

According to Evangelist Ebuka, the current Catholic leadership in Enugu is envious of the popularity that Mbaka had and the fact that most of its members prefer to worship at the Adoration ground.
He stated: Three months ago, they stopped him from baptizing and conducting wedding. He will not speak out for himself. They stopped it because it was free of charge. The fact is the they are envious of his progress. It is on record that Mbaka picked all the mad people on the streets of Enugu and is currently rehabilitating them. It is only in Enugu that you do not see mad people parading the streets. So many widows are on his pay role. He is paying the school fees of so many indigent people.
He kicked against collecting burial levy from the families of the deceased and has organized so many free weddings. People who do not have money to organize a befitting wedding, he will intervene. So many Bishops have come and blessed his ministry why should Bishop Onoja’s own case be different. The church is not happy because of the money they are losing as so many Catholics prefer Mbaka to bury their loved one or organize weddings for them. Most importantly he is fighting a lot of spiritual battles for the people. Anyone can say anything and he made a comment which he had retracted. Why should the adoration camp be shut down because of that?
I like Peter Obi more than anyone. I pray that my Lord Bishop Onoja will not dance to their tune. If truly it was because of a statement, they should have cautioned him instead shutting down the ministry. May God help you apply wisdom.”
