Popular skit-maker, Abdullahi Maruf Adisa, also known as Trinity guy, has been detained by operatives of  Oyo State Police Command, after he was invited by the police formation, over an alleged ‘disturbing’ prank video.

Adisa’s trouble had started after the Police Public Relations Officer, Force Headquarters, Muyiwa Adejobi, called for his arrest, over what he described as a ‘disturbing’ prank video.

Adejobi had also accused the skit-maker of child abuse, following the prank video involving a minor.

The Police Spokesman had equally retweeted the prank video of the skit-maker on Thursday, insisting it was “rubbish and criminal”.

He also insisted that the police would act soon. “This is rubbish and criminal. This guy should be arrested and charged to Court. We will act as soon as possible. I hate this scene. Child abuse!!!” he said.

However, in a follow up tweet, the Oyo State Police Command on June 23, announced that the skit-maker arrived at the Command on Friday morning.

The post reads: “Good morning fam! Abdullahi Maruf Adisa AKA Trinity reported at the Oyo State Police Command at exactly 1000hrs today. Recall, he was invited yesterday over a video depicting the sexualization of a female minor. Updates would follow in sequence, please.”
