9- year old girl reveals why she set Ebeano Supermarket on fire

The Police have arrested a 9-year-old girl, who allegedly ignited the fire that razed a mega supermarket in Abuja, Prince Ebeano Supermarket.


According to police source, the girl was seen in a video clip gotten from the CCTV monitor on the day of the incident .
The girl simply identified as Joanne was said to have visited the supermarket with her mother on the day of the incident.
She was seen through the CCTV clip at the cooking utensils section when she picked a lighter and ignited the fire.
She told the police that she simply did what she saw in a movie.
Prince Ebeano Supermarket was razed down and goods worth billions of naira lost in the inferno.
Initially, the management thought that it was an electrical fault till the CCTV monitor was recovered.
