For obvious reasons, Sahara Reporters has once again linked Abba Kyari to what he has nothing to do with. The continuous fabrication of falsehood has again taken journalism in Nigeria to a new low.
The Legal Practitioners Disciplinary Committee, delivered a directive suspending a Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) from legal practice for a period of five years, starting from the day the suspension was delivered in accordance with the provisions of Section 22(b) of the Legal Practitioners Disciplinary Committee Rules, 2020 and all other enabling provisions. The Lawyer have already appealled the directives.
The suspension was predicated on a matter involving late Ex-Police Corporal and notorious kidnapper popularly called E-Money, who died during Gun battle with the Police in 2017.
The case is at the Federal High Court of Imo state. The court has also granted seizure of properties illegally acquired by the late kidnapper in a forfeiture order granted by the court to the Federal Government of Nigeria.
This time around is about the case of a Lawyer who’s Practice licence was suspended for 5yrs (For which he has already gone on appeal) because of allegations against the lawyer by Family members of a Notorious Kidnapper and Ex-Police Corporal Collins Eze aka E-Money who died during Gun battle with Police in Imo State 2017.
In all, 13 Massive Properties of the late kidnapper were seized by the Police Lawyer who gain Forfeiture to the Federal Government in the Federal High Court Imo.
But upon a petition written against him, he was put under investigation. Over Allegations that due process was not followed by the Police lawyer in the Process of collection and custody of the rent of one of the Properties as directed by the federal High Court Imo.
The disciplinary committee found him wanting for not following due process but not diversion of any fund and handed down suspension of his practice licence for 5 years and He has gone on appeal already.
One wonders where therefore Abba Kyari comes in here. Barr Uhumwangho is not and has never been Abba Kyari’s lawyer but a fellow police officer who is a barrister that handles cases for the police.
One can clearly see that those who remained angry and disgruntled in the way Kyari fought deadly kidnappers like E-Money are hell-bent on exerting their revenge because of what they lost.
The investigative panel never indicted Kyari neither was he a focus of investigation or allegation during the investigation of the Police Lawyer over the Prosecution of a case in 2018.
It appears Sahara Reporters has a premeditated score to settle which is why at every possible opportunity, anything is linked with Kyari provided it happens in the police.
The public are therefore advised to ignore the jaundiced journalism of a paper whose address or reporters are not known.
Kyari contributed his outstanding quota to the service of the country and its National Security and also the promotion of the ideals of policing in the Nigeria Police Force by making the Police reached its best ever Period in Successfull Fight against Terrorism, Kidnappings, Murders and other heinous crimes all across the Country.
Clear Available evidences remains on how he discharged his service meritoriously and unpararalled in the the History of the Nation, winning many honours both local and international like no any officer in the History of the country.
It’s understandable that envy and those whose ego were bruised and whose illegal business like kidnappings, Terrorism, oil bunkering and financial fraud were nipped in the bud would continue to sponsor fake attacks on Kyari.
Kyari would remain resolute and unruffled as far as the Nigerian project is concerned. Millions of Sahara Reporters can not change his destiny on where GOD has Destined him to reach in life nor his personal motto concerning the affairs of the country.
The public are once again advised to ignore the concocted reports that bore no fact but are full of fiction, fallacies, inconsistencies and sponsored to attack aimed to destroy the hard earned name and record of Service Kyari has earned.
