Why FG auctioned Diezani’s bras

The Federal Government has commenced the process of valuation of property belonging to several politically exposed persons, including the embattled former Minister of Petroleum Resources, Diezani Alison-Madueke.
Amongst the things listed for auction is her’ $12.5-million worth of Bras.

According to reports, this Bra are regarded as the world’s most expensive bra, which cost $12.5-million (£8.5-million).

The Heavenly Star Bra, by sapphires and its centerpiece a 90-carat emerald cut diamond that was worth $10.6 million (£7.28 million) alone at the time it was bought.

The former petroleum minister is believed to have bought the Bra which is believed to have the ability to stop boobs from sagging .

Others are Diezani property located in highbrow Banana Island Foreshore Estate, Ikoyi, Lagos, include eighteen flats and six penthouses located at Building 3, Block B, Bella Vista, Plot 1, Zone N, Federal Government Layout.

Diezani, who was minister under former President Goodluck Jonathan, has been in the United Kingdom since 2015 and has refused to return to Nigeria ever since.

The Chairman, Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Abdulrasheed Bawa,stated before the House of Representatives in May that jewellery worth N14billion were seized from Diezani.
